Offered for sale at Patrick AFB, FL on March 15th is N36WU which is listed by the FAA as s/n 154036, but in the sales brochure as 154845. And to confuse the matter, on the same day 154036 will also be sold with the following details:
SCRAP CONDITION, NOT FLYABLE, NO DATA PLATE, STRIPPED OF ALL USEABLE/VISIBLE PARTS. USED AS "DONOR AIRCRAFT." TAIL #154036, S/N:15200000CH46D. STUB WINGS AND ALL LANDING GEAR HAVE BEEN REMOVED.
More than likely, the brochure is a bit suspect! And on the subject of Patrick AFB, N667WU was reserved by them around the same time as N36WU, but never taken up. Any suggestions?
